I. Conference Overview The 8th CSOM is a premier academic summit in the field of sustainable operations and management, hosted by the Systems Engineering Society of China (SESC) and Donghua University. The conference, themed "AI and Sustainable Operations Management," was held in Shanghai from May 16–17, 2025. It aimed to explore the integration of AI in green supply chains, the circular economy, and energy transition, fostering New Quality Productive Forces and supporting Chinese modernization.
