  • Call for Papers: Academic Workshop on "Next-Generation AI-Driven Management Innovation and System Transformation"

    Background & Objectives To systematically explore the innovative value of Artificial Intelligence in management science and promote the deep coupling of theoretical research and practical application, the Journal of Systems & Management is launching this call for papers. The workshop is held in conjunction with the "2025 Smart Future International Forum & The 1st Academic Annual Meeting on Science and Technology Innovation Empowering High-Quality Industrial Development for South and Southeast Asia."

    Focusing on the frontiers of management science and AI applications, the workshop emphasizes three key research pillars: intelligent optimization of business processes, digital transformation of organizational models (exploring human-AI collaboration and agile architectures), and interdisciplinary responses to system-level challenges (including AI ethics and technical risk control). The workshop aims to build a high-level academic platform to provide theoretical support and practical guidance for the paradigm shift of management in the intelligent era.

    Selected papers will receive one-on-one guidance from guest editors. Outstanding works meeting the journal's standards will be granted priority publication in regular issues.


    I. Theme

    Next-Generation AI-Driven Management Innovation and System Transformation.

    II. Scope

    We welcome research utilizing methodologies such as mathematical modeling, empirical analysis, case studies, and simulation. Topics include, but are not limited to:

    1. Next-generation AI-driven optimization of corporate decision-making processes.

    2. Next-generation AI-driven human-AI collaboration and organizational change.

    3. Logical frameworks and practical explorations of AI-empowered corporate strategy realization.

    4. AI-empowered cross-departmental collaboration and resource integration efficiency.

    5. Identification and mitigation strategies for resistance to organizational change in the AI era.

    6. Construction and collaborative mechanisms of corporate innovation ecosystems in the AI era.

    7. Impact factors and path optimization of innovation achievement transformation under next-generation AI.

    8. Mechanisms of next-generation AI's influence on business model innovation paths.

    III. Important Dates

    • Submission Deadline: August 1, 2025.

    • Workshop Dates: August 18–20, 2025.

    IV. Requirements

    Submissions must be original and unpublished. Formatting should follow the requirements of the Journal of Systems & Management. Manuscripts should be 10,000 to 15,000 words (minimum 8,000 words).

    V. Organization & Agenda

    The workshop will feature a blind peer-review process. Selected authors will be invited to present their research in Kunming, Yunnan Province (Lianyun Hotel). Sessions will consist of paper presentations followed by expert commentary. Following the workshop, the Guest Editorial Board will recommend outstanding papers for a Fast-Track Review process.

    VI. Publication

    Papers entering the fast-track process will undergo external peer review after revision. Those meeting the journal’s standards will be prioritized for publication in the regular issues.
