Academic Workshop

  • Call for Papers: Academic Workshop on "Innovation and Development of 'Guochao' Brands in the New Era"

Background In the new era, the growing sense of cultural confidence has fueled the rapid rise of "Guochao" (China-Chic) brands, making them a pivotal force in leading Chinese brand innovation and development. "Guochao" represents not only the inheritance and innovation of national culture but also a bridge connecting consumer emotions and cultural identity. The State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission (SASAC) issued the "Opinions on High-Quality Brand Building for Central Enterprises in the New Era," explicitly identifying brand building as a key measure for the high-quality development of state-owned enterprises. Driven by both globalization and digitalization, "Guochao" brands face unprecedented opportunities and challenges. Exploring how to leapfrog brand value through innovation-driven strategies has become an urgent research topic.

To promote theoretical research and practical exploration, the Journal of Systems & Management is hosting an academic workshop themed "Innovation and Development of 'Guochao' Brands in the New Era." The workshop aims to provide scholars with a platform to showcase research, receive expert guidance, and improve manuscript quality.
