Call for Papers: The 24th Annual Academic Conference of the Systems Engineering Society of China (SESC)

To all branches, institutional members, and individual members:
The 24th Annual Academic Conference of the Systems Engineering Society of China (SESC) will be held in Tianjin from October 24 to 25, 2026, hosted by Tianjin University. The theme of this year's conference is "Knowledge System of Systems Engineering with Chinese Characteristics." Since its inception in 1980, the SESC Annual Conference has been a premier biennial academic event. We hereby announce the call for papers as follows:
Submissions are categorized into Abstracts and Full Papers. Full papers will be recommended to journals sponsored by the Society (or relevant systems-related journals) via a "Fast Track" review process. All submissions must be made via the online system, and only those accepted and registered will be included in the conference program.
Online Submission: Visit sesc2026.casconf.cn. For full papers, authors must select the preferred journal and theme. For general abstracts, select the theme. Submissions to parallel sessions or thematic forums organized by SESC branches/experts are treated as abstract submissions.
Review Process: Full papers and general abstracts will be reviewed by the Conference Academic Committee. Submissions to specific parallel sessions or forums will be managed by their respective organizers. Official notifications will be sent via the conference platform.

Note: Authors of recommended papers must register for the conference and comply with all journal-specific requirements. Final acceptance by a journal is independent of the conference.

Authorship: Author names and order are based on the initial submission. All co-authors must be informed. Authors must guarantee the authenticity of content and references, adhering to the Ethics Convention for Academic Publishing by CAST.
Query: Results can be queried in the submission system. Registration details will be emailed to the corresponding author.
June 30: Deadline for the 1st round of Full Paper submissions (for journal recommendation).
July 20: Notification of acceptance for the 1st round (journal recommendation).
August 10: Deadline for conference registration/payment for recommended journal papers.
August 20: Deadline for final submission to the respective journals.
July 30 – Sept 15: 2nd round for Abstract submissions.
September 20: Notification of acceptance for the 2nd round.
September 30: Deadline for at least one author per paper to complete registration and payment.
