With the rapid development and continuous evolution of emerging information technologies, including big data, artificial intelligence (AI), and large language models (LLMs), healthcare operations management is entering a new era of intelligent and data-driven integration.
From precision forecasting of healthcare resources and dynamic scheduling to intelligent optimization of patient flow and early warning of healthcare quality risks, operations research, optimization methods, and intelligent decision-making approaches are reshaping the operational mechanisms of healthcare systems.
To further promote interdisciplinary innovation among operations research, data science, artificial intelligence, and healthcare management, and to establish a high-level platform for academic exchange, research collaboration, and practical application, the Healthcare Operations Management Branch of the Operations Research Society of China will organize the:
“2026 Annual Conference of the Healthcare Operations Management Branch of the Operations Research Society of China & The 2nd Meeting of the 3rd Council of the Branch”
The conference will be held from November 6 to November 8, 2026 in Shenzhen, China.
The theme of this conference is:
“Frontier Theories and Innovative Applications of Healthcare Operations Management in the AI Era.”
The conference will invite renowned experts and scholars in healthcare operations management to deliver keynote presentations. The Council Meeting of the Branch will also be held during the conference.
The conference will take place at Shenzhen University, providing an excellent opportunity for researchers and practitioners to exchange ideas on emerging theories, methodologies, and applications in intelligent healthcare operations management.
