    The 3rd Conference on Data Science and Operations Intelligence

    Theme: AI for OR & OR for AI

    The 2026 Annual Conference of the Data Science and Operations Intelligence Branch (Preparatory) of the Operations Research Society of China (ORSC), together with the 3rd Conference on Data Science and Operations Intelligence, will be held on September 19–20, 2026, in Suzhou, Jiangsu Province, China.

    The conference is organized by the Data Science and Operations Intelligence Branch (Preparatory) of the Operations Research Society of China and hosted by the Business School of Soochow University. Under the theme of “AI for OR & OR for AI”, the conference focuses on frontier issues arising from the interdisciplinary integration of artificial intelligence, data science, and operations research.

    The conference aims to facilitate in-depth discussions on emerging opportunities, new challenges, and future directions in data science and operations intelligence. It will provide a high-level academic platform for experts and scholars to present cutting-edge research achievements, exchange innovative ideas, and foster academic collaboration and technological innovation.

    The conference will feature keynote speeches delivered by leading experts in data science and operations intelligence. In addition, parallel thematic sessions, a doctoral student forum, and other academic activities will be organized to promote extensive and in-depth communication among participants.

    Researchers from universities and institutes, government representatives, industry professionals, and graduate students are sincerely invited to submit papers and participate in the conference.

    1. Keynote Speeches by Distinguished Experts

    The conference will invite renowned interdisciplinary scholars from the fields of operations research, statistics, mathematics, computer science, and data science to deliver keynote speeches on frontier topics related to:

    The conference invites submissions of academic papers related to:

    • Automated Machine Learning and Decision Optimization
    • Network Science and Graph Optimization

    Participants presenting papers in thematic sessions must be members of the Operations Research Society of China.

    3. Invited Presentations by Students and Young Faculty Members

    Student Invited Presentations

    Eligibility requirements:

    • The presenter must be an enrolled student before September 1, 2026;
    • The full paper must be submitted by September 1, 2026 (inclusive);
    • The presenter must contribute no less than 50% of the research work.

    Young Faculty Invited Presentations

    Eligibility requirements:

    • The presenter must be under 35 years old before September 1, 2026;
    • The full paper must be submitted by September 1, 2026 (inclusive).

    Note:
    Students and young faculty members participating in invited presentations must be members of the Operations Research Society of China.

    Applicants who are not members should complete membership registration before paper submission and select:

    “Data Science and Operations Intelligence Branch (Preparatory)”

    as their interested branch.


    4. Graduate Student Paper Presentations

    Graduate students are encouraged to submit ongoing research or newly published papers for:

    • Poster presentations; or
    • Oral presentations in thematic sessions.

    5. Meeting of the Preparatory Committee

    The meeting will discuss and review:

    • Key tasks during the preparation period of the branch;
    • Future development strategies and objectives;
    • Organization of the election of the new Council members.

    After evaluation by the conference committee, selected papers presented at the conference will be recommended for peer review and possible publication in the following journals:

    Paper Requirements

    • Full papers that have not been publicly published are accepted.
    • Papers may be written in Chinese or English.
    • There is no limitation on paper length.

    Please submit manuscripts in Microsoft Word or PDF format.

    The formatting style should follow the official conference templates:
