Finance is the lifeblood of the national economy and a crucial component of national core competitiveness. The Central Financial Work Conference held in October 2023 emphasized the vital role of finance and proposed "accelerating the construction of a financial powerhouse." As a main force in this mission, the quantitative finance and insurance industries serve as pillars for promoting economic development and ensuring financial security. Contributing to this national strategy and leveraging professional expertise in these fields remain significant theoretical and practical challenges.
To address these, the Quantitative Finance and Insurance Branch of the China Society of Optimization, Overall Planning and Economic Mathematics (SCOPE) will host its 6th (2024) Annual Academic Conference at Nanjing University of Science and Technology from October 18–20, 2024. During the conference, the election for the new Board of Directors will also take place. We warmly welcome scholars, industry professionals, and researchers in science and education to submit papers and participate.
