  • Notice: The 2025 MS&E Collaborative Innovation and Management Branch Annual Meeting & 20th Anniversary of Yangtze River Delta (YRD) Disciplinary Development Collaboration Network

The "Collaborative Innovation and Management Branch of the Management Science and Engineering Society of China" is one of the first secondary branches under the Management Science and Engineering Society of China. Its predecessor, the "Yangtze River Delta (YRD) Management Science and Engineering Disciplinary Development Collaboration Network," was initiated by renowned scholars such as Professor Chen Hongmin (Shanghai Jiao Tong University), Professor Wu Xiaobo (Zhejiang University), and Professor Zhong Weijun (Southeast University). It aims to promote frontier academic research, enhance comprehensive disciplinary development, and improve talent cultivation, providing a platform for academic exchange among scholars and experts from universities and industries.

This year's annual meeting is hosted by the School of Management, Zhejiang University, and will be held in Hangzhou from June 20 to 22, 2025. The Academic Committee will select outstanding papers to be recommended for fast-track review in journals such as Journal of Management Engineering, Journal of Systems & Management, Frontiers of Engineering Management, and Journal of University of Science and Technology of China.

    I. Conference Background

The year 2025 marks the 20th anniversary of the YRD Management Science and Engineering Disciplinary Development Collaboration Network. It is also a critical year for the conclusion of the "14th Five-Year Plan" and the forward-looking planning of the "15th Five-Year Plan." As a vital platform in the field, the Society has consistently promoted disciplinary innovation and the integration of industry and education, providing intellectual support for national strategic issues and high-quality development.

To commemorate this 20-year milestone, the conference is themed "Collaborative Innovation and Management in the Era of Human-AI Integration." It brings together scholars, industry experts, and corporate representatives from the Yangtze River Delta to focus on the challenges of restructuring innovation, industrial, and supply chains. We are entering an era of "Human-AI Integration," where human and artificial intelligence deeply merge in life and work. As a general-purpose technology, AI is expected to subvert the underlying logic of production and services, fundamentally changing business relationships and accelerating the development of New Quality Productive Forces.

This conference will explore how Human-AI integration empowers traditional industrial upgrades, how management theory innovation adapts to strategic windows of opportunity, and the effective paths for collaborative innovation within the YRD integration process.
