(1) Receive manuscripts: the manuscripts will be processed online (select for preliminary review) and a notification email will be replied each week.
(2) Preliminary review: the area editors review the manuscript and give their opinions (revision, rejection), or send it to experts for review.
(3) Peer review: manuscripts are sent to external experts for review, with a time limit of 60 days (some manuscripts may be delayed).
(4) Review back: reviewers upload their comments and the area editor reviews the experts' comments and gives the opinion on how to proceed (revise, withdraw or recommend for publication).
(5) Manuscript Revision: manuscript revision by authors within 2 months.
(6) Review revised manuscript:review revised manuscript by area editors, the manuscript might be sent to peer review by external experts again.
(7) Final review: after the revised manuscript has been reviewed by area editors and there are no objections, it will be sent to the Editor-in-Chief for final review to determine whether the manuscript is accepted.
(8) Publication fee payment: the journal publication fee is RMB 6,000. Notification of acceptance is sent electronically and authors must sign a copyright agreement.
(9) Publication: the manuscript is entered into the pending publication catalogue. Current issue catalogue is posted on the website bulletin board.
Please note that the processing time for manuscripts follows the time prompted by the system as far as possible, but overruns are difficult to avoid.
